About NCC
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a premier youth organization in India that aims to develop character, discipline, leadership, and a spirit of service among students. In universities, NCC provides students with a unique opportunity to participate in various military and community-based activities while pursuing their academic education. Through structured training in drills, adventure sports, social service, and leadership exercises, NCC helps in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are physically fit, mentally alert, and socially responsible. Being a part of NCC not only enhances personal development but also opens avenues for career opportunities, especially in the defence service.
Sister Nivedita University (SNU) is eager to contribute to the promotion of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) at the university level. NCC plays a vital role in shaping responsible, disciplined, and confident youth. SNU firmly believe that encouraging more students to join NCC will not only enhance their leadership and teamwork skills but also instil a deep sense of patriotism and social responsibility. SNU is committed to spreading awareness about the benefits of NCC and actively participating in initiatives that inspire students to become proud cadets and future leaders of our nation.
