Strengthening Indo-China Academic Ties! SVCIT China Visit Introductory Phase
We are thrilled to share the success of Sister Nivedita University’s recent visit to SVCIT China, where our esteemed delegation, including Dr. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay (Vice Chancellor, SNU), Dr. Summauli Pyne (Director of Global Affairs, SNU), Dr. Swarup Kumar Ghosh, and Dr. Anirban Mitra (Head of Computer Science,SNU had an inspiring and impactful exchange with the academic leaders of SVCIT.
The delegation had the privilege of meeting with President Mr. Hen Pen, Vice President Mr. Mu Zhonghu, Vice Director Fang Rui, Deputy Secretary Mr. Liu Kai, and the distinguished Deans and Directors of SVCIT. This productive meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and fostering new avenues for India-China Academic Exchange.
Our faculty members also had the opportunity to engage with SVCIT students and faculty in interactive classroom sessions, which received an overwhelming response. An Inspiring Session on Higher Studies in the USA 
The seminar hall at Sister Nivedita University came alive with excitement on 4th December 2024, as students gathered for the much-anticipated session titled "Higher Studies in the USA". Organized by the Department of Computer Science, the event aimed to provide invaluable guidance to students aspiring to pursue advanced education in the United States.
The highlight of the event was the presence of Prof. Rajesh Iyer, a distinguished academic from Bradley University. With his warm and engaging approach, Prof. Iyer shared essential insights into various aspects of studying in the USA, including:

Securing scholarships
Adapting to cultural differences
The interactive session was enriched with practical tips and real-life anecdotes from Prof. Iyer’s extensive teaching experience. Strengthening Industry-Academia Collaboration!
In a groundbreaking move to bridge the gap between academia and industry, Sister Nivedita University (SNU) has signed a *Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Visteon Corporation*, a global leader in automotive electronics!
The MoU, formalised at the Industry Connect Program on campus, marks the beginning of an exciting journey for our students, providing them with internships, live projects, workshops, and expert mentorship from Visteon’s industry leaders.
Dr. Sanku Bose, GCEO of Techno India Group, and Prof. Suman Chatterjee, Registrar of Sister Nivedita University, emphasised how this partnership will offer hands-on learning experiences to prepare students for evolving industry demands.

Expert Talk on Cybersecurity Careers of the Future: A Huge Success! 

The Department of Computer Science at Sister Nivedita University recently hosted an engaging Expert Talk on "Cybersecurity Careers of the Future: Expert Insights on Conquering the Challenges of the Next Decade" on 27th March 2025.
The event featured Mr. Suprotik Ghose, Chief Information Security Officer at Graphene Security, Inc., USA, who shared valuable insights into emerging trends, challenges, and career opportunities in cybersecurity.
